The Vision - This is a collective term we use to descibe everything you see here. We use it to talk about the mechanics of our STRATEGY (for example, to be "in the Vision" is to be somewhere in the process of the strategy that we embrace to fulfill our mission of winning souls and making disciples of Jesus Christ.) There is a deeper meaning of this, however, that has to do with the spirit that drives us. Those who are in the Vision are consumed with the purpose of Christ... the purpose for his life and for his death... to win souls and make disciples. Charged by the Great Commision, those who embrace the spirit of the Vision live for the purpose of Christ, driven by the Holy Spirit, and committed to share the Gospel with eveyrone we meet.

The Strategy - We embrace what we call the LADDER OF SUCCESS to ensure consistancy in our multiplication of the VISION. The ladder of success consists of four components: WIN, CONSOLIDATE, DISCIPLE, and SEND. All of these are defined individually below.

Strategy Step 1 - Win - This is Evangelism! Soul winning is a deep passion here at Hope Alive. To not win souls is to not fulfill our purpose in Christ and to dishonor Christ's great sacrifice for us.

Strategy Step 2 - Consolidate - We don't just leave you at the altar wondering what to do next! Consolidation is driven by the conviction that when you first decide to commit your life to Christ, you need to be taught how to live in this new life and led to the place where you are fulfilling the Great Commission!

Strategy Step 3 - Disicple - You are discipled just as Jesus discipled his Twelve... through small groups and consistent instruction that is empowered with moral authority! Discipleship is done primarily through what we call CELLS and our SCHOOL OF LEADERS

Strategy Step 4 - Send - We believe it is the destiny of every new believer in Jesus Christ to fulfill Jesus' great command. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus said, "Go into all the world and make disciples baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Our goal is to make radical dicisples of Jesus Christ which means that we obey all He has commanded. The most unprejudice and best method we have found which allows every believer to do this is launching of small group ministries we call cells. Send is when you launch your own cell and lead people through the LADDER OF SUCCESS!

Twelve - There is much talk around Hope Alive about the number 12. We believe that When Jesus chose 12 to disciple, he was setting a model in place for us to follow, so thats what we do. Every leader is in seach of 12 people to disciple and to teach them to do the same.

144 - This is the term we use to refer to the group of people being disciple by the Pastors' 12 in each network. The 144 then disciple the 1728 and so forth. This is just a numerical system to describe where you are in leadership.

N12 - an N12 leader is a leader who is in a network leader's cell (men/women/youth/children). These leaders are held at a much higher standard of accountability and responsibility as they are charged with governing the church.

PEP Process - This is and essencial component of our consoldiation process. Consisting of the pre-encounter, encounter, and post encounter, this launches new believers into a solid, stable faith, ready to be discipled to their full potential.

Pre-Encounter - The first step of the PEP process, this prepares you for the awesome weekend that lies ahead in the Encounter, a three day weekend retreat. This is conducted by your cell leader and is scheduled per encounter.

Encounter - This is the second step of the PEP process. This is a three day weekend "retreat" where you set aside time from EVERYTHING to be with God. Never will you look at life the same again and never will you feel so FREE! This is the beginning of a tremendous journey down a successful road of great faith! Post Encounter - A week foundational course for those who have completed the encounter. This is a tremendous stepping stone to the School of Leaders.

Re-Encounter - This is the same as an encounter, but we have these between the TRIMESTERS of the SCHOOL OF LEADERS.

School of Leaders - This is a 30 week school to equip you to become the leader that you have been called to be! Here you will learn how to be a leader, exactly what it means to be a disciple, and what tremendous blessings we inherit when we commit our lives to follow Christ.

Convention - This is when we rally around our victories and our new goals in a celebration fit for a King!

Prayer of Three - This is a prayer strategy that we use where 3 leaders pray for 3 unsaved people each through consistent, synchronized prayer time.

Fruit - These are souls that we win - that is we lead them to Christ. When we are winning souls and making disciples, we are said to be fruitful.
